Obama’s Mean Women versus The Moms of McCain
It is the theme of the current presidential election. The Mean Women are supporting Barack Obama. The Moms are for John McCain and Sarah Palin.

The Mean Women, such as Washington Womanhood’s Doyenne, Sally Quinn, are criticizing the parenting skills of VP nominee Sarah Palin, as afterall, only bad mothers have teenagers who engage in unwise, risky, and immoral behavior. Ms. Quinn condemns Palin’s accepting of the Vice Presidential nomination when she has young children, including a Downs Syndrome baby.

“Not only do we have a woman with five children, including an infant with special needs, but a woman whose 17-year-old child will need her even more in the coming months. Not to mention the grandchild.” ~~Sally Quinn

The Moms believe in freedom of “choice” and say that mothers are as capable of meeting challenges as any other women or men.

The Mean Women condemn Senator McCain and Sarah Palin for their advocating of adoption instead of abortion, claiming that only healthy white children are ever adopted, not black or imperfect ones. The Moms tell stories about the many compassionate Americans, like John and Cindy McCain, who not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.

Dadmag: Your youngest daughter Bridget is adopted. Why did you decide to adopt Bridget?

McCain: Well it was primarily my wife’s Cindy’s idea. She was in Bangladesh and she and some of the medical personnel visited Mother Theresa’s orphanage to try and help the children there. There were two little baby girls there. One had a heart problem the other a severe cleft palate. Cindy was very concerned about their ability to survive and their need for medical treatment, so she decided to bring them here for medical treatment. She fell in love with both of them. We decided to adopt Bridget. Two close friends of ours, adopted Mickey, the other child.

Dadmag: You knew about your wife’s decision before hand?

McCain: (laughs) No. She arrived and said “Say hello to your new little daughter.”

Dadmag: A bit of a shock?

McCain: Yes indeed.

Dadmag: And how has it worked out? Are you happy with the decision to adopt Bridget?

McCain: Oh yes! She has enriched our lives. She’s a wonderful child, a complete part of our family and we love her.

The Mean Women condemn Sarah Palin as “anti-choice.” The Moms wonder how a women can be labeled as “anti-choice,” when she made the “Choice” to become a mother of a Downs Syndrome baby.

The Mean Women criticise the War on Terror claiming that only the sons and daughters of poor and uneducated Americans volunteer to fight in the United States military. Yet, The Moms see that both John McCain and Sarah Palin have sons currently serving as troops with American forces. The Moms see no disgrace to have a child serving his or her fellow countrymen, as that is the old-fashioned American ideal.

The Mean Women belittle Sarah Palin because she is a graduate of a “state” university in Idaho, and has been a mayor and governor only in “small town America.” The Moms see nothing wrong with small towns, as that is where most of them live. The Moms also see that Sarah Palin’s speaking skills are on a par with Chicago’s Harvard-educated Barack Obama, so wonder what’s wrong with a state university, such as their own sons and daughters attend.

The Mean Women in the Media (such as Sally Quinn) are condemning the religious beliefs of Sarah Palin while in the very next breath, they criticize her for choosing to not obey some tenants of her religion. The Moms believe that America is the land of religious freedom and that a woman’s faith and how she lives it should be her personal “CHOICE.”

The Mean Women tell Governer Sarah Palin that she is no Hillary Clinton. The Moms say fine; let Sarah be Sarah.

Mean Women Doyenne Sally Quinn writes about Faith at the Washington Post, where she tells others what they are supposed to believe according to their religion. She recently wrote “But it must certainly raise the question among the evangelical base about whether Sarah Palin has been enough of a hands-on mother.”  Ms. Quinn is aided in this endeavor by John Meachum of Newsweek, who personally hired Markos Moulitsas as a journalist covering the 2008 campaign. It is the same Markos Moulitsas, of The Daily Kos, who published the viscious and sleazy blog attacks against Sarah Palin’s seventeen-year-old daughter. These are the people that WaPo chooses to write about “Faith.”
