Paetec & Red Rock Communications

Who is  RYAN J. TAYLOR? He Harasses the Elderly Using Paetec Communications, INC of Clliffside, New Jersey and Red Rock Communications of South Dakota to make ROBOCALLS.

Day in and day out, continually, I am being harassed in Virginia on my home telephone by Paetec Communications, INC. of New Jersey. The telephone calls that interrupt my peace are recordings warning me that my automobile warranty is about to expire. Each caller ID shows a different telephone number so that even when I block the last number called, Paetec Communications, INC continues to get through with a brand new number.

Here are reports from others about this same last phone number that came to me: Who Called Us from (201) 917-7312?  “19 calls reported from this number. According to 8 reports the identity of this caller is Red Rock Communications.”

Red Rock Communications is a despicable company that sells phony caller ID names and numbers to telemarketers – usually scammers – so you cannot see who is really telephoning your private telephone. Their website is redrockcommunications.net. The software they provide to their telemarketers enables scammers to call repeatedly from the same telephone by automatically changing its identification (Caller ID). Even though you block Anonymous Calls, and also the number of the last harassment call from Paetec Communications, Inc., Red Rock Communications enables them to call you again, and again with a new Caller ID each time. I am receiving about ten calls a week. What a piece of SLIMEY work is this Ryan J. Taylor and his Red Rock Communications of South Dakota!

They don’t just target the elderly. We get the same calls at our house, with the same phony caller ids.

After one such call, I tried calling the number back to tell them to take me off their list. I got a recorded message saying it was a “non-working” number – even though it was the number from which their call had just been generated.

I called the operator and was told that these telemarketing services are able to do this. I asked if it was legal, and she said it depends on what state the call is coming from. I asked how I could find out what company was responsible, but she didn’t know.

Thanks for the info on Who Called Us. I’ll keep them in mind next time I get one of those calls (usually 3-4 times a week).

Thanks Maureen. I was getting frustrated as my phone service allows me to selectively block calls. Everytime a junk call came in and I blocked it, the same company called again in a day or two. That’s when I realized they were using different numbers each time. Then further investigation revealed that those numbers that appear on the Caller ID are fake.

No it is not just the elderly, but the elderly are much more vulnerable to these scams, and that is why they are targeted.

Here is another of the pesky phone numbers about automobile warranties. The Caller ID on this one reads “New Smyrna B FL” and the number reads 386-427-6640.

I spoke with a fraud investigator at Paetec Communications today. She admitted the auto warranty telemarketers are a Paetec client and regretted the phone calls. She also admitted the calls were illegal and they were working to resolve the issue. I have her name and phone number and will certainly follow up to hold Paetec Communications accountable.

    Hey everyone!
Our household has a rule, “NO answering 8** hundred numbers or unidentifiable CID’s,etc..” You’ve heard of MLM, PYRAMID…, well Paetec and Red Rock seem to have fashioned themselves in the same manner. Nothing new. Companies spring-up, collect personal data, sell the data, then close shop with a huge profit in a short period of time. Entrepreneurs do this all the time from as little as a new local pawn shop or check cashing store, to as big as WAMU financial instiution selling off to CHASE Manhattan who’s bought up by AIG who then rakes in the profits by pre-maturely liquidating surplus accounts thru devious means, off-setting the books padded with sourly inflated aquired accounts from the takeover, then capitalize on those deceptively aquired accounts by threatening economic meltdown thru system failure and “receiving” BILLIONS of dollars thru bailouts from the United States (tax payers) , then to throw mud in our eyes, throw congradulatory parties and pay everyone off with multi-million dollar bonuses, of course, backed up by contractual retainment agreements; of which a vast majority of contractees resigned (for) other entrepreneural positions.period. Before you think I am talking out of context or have gone off the deep end; I am only pointing out the fact that “Red Rock”, in the quoted statement by them on this web-link, stated “…You can perform calls just like you do today using our numbers and “earn revenue in return…” As for pawn shops and check cashing outlets, I used them for my own needs within the last six years. One, of each, within that time period stated to me they were going out of business; that another company was buying them out. As for WAMU, I had the privy of aquainting a local branch (acccount manager)who was facinated with the mountain resort I worked at. I think about two months later, thru my own financial discrepencies and his re-imbursing (sums) of overdrafts, he informed me (in renference)that WAMU was going to be bought-up by Chase Manhattan. This intrigued me (investment wise) and he told me that would happen within a year or so. That was back in 2006. The point to be taken is; to stop the harrassing phone calls, the unwanted SPAM, the causal effect of inflationary taxation; is not to be party to it. Do not aknowlege them. Do not answer unkown queries. Do not reply to “take me off your list” requests. Do not answer unknown CID’s on your phone…! Just Do Not aknowledge them. If everyone did the same they would be eliminated, they would no longer have sources of revenue. Afterall they get paid by “per-response.”
