Read My Mind

Not My Words! ~~Senator John Kerry to America

This is what Senator Kerry said speaking to college students: “You know, education: If you make the most of it. You study hard. you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you …, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Now Kerry claims that he was making a joke about President Bush being “dumb” and “lazy” and not speaking of the troops “stuck in Iraq.” He didn’t need to mention the President by name, as everyone knows that when Kerry speaks of someone as “uneducated”, “lazy” and “stuck in Iraq”, he is always referring to the President. His acolytes are saying that we need to read Kerry’s mind, not his words. It is an especially interesting feat in mind-reading, considering that both George W. Bush and John Kerry attended the same prestigious Yale University, where Bush earned a higher grade point average than John Kerry. In addition, Senator Kerry voted to support the War in Iraq. So what was the joke?

Stay tune. After the Democrats realize that they have been swift-boated by their chosen standard bearer, expect John Kerry to claim that he has no need to apologize because “the devil made him do it.” Yes, it was a diabolical October surprise schemed up by evil genius Karl Rove.
